OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We are committed to promoting your child’s individual growth in an atmosphere of love and respect. We have an understanding of the developmental stages of young children and their needs. We allow children to choose many of their own daily activities and interactions, and we offer help and guidance where needed. Our children play an active part in expressing their ideas.

We are sensitive to the needs of each individual child. Our goal is to give your child a sense of self-worth by allowing them the opportunity to successfully develop at their own pace, while learning new skills. We want them to feel secure enough to participate in a stimulating, educational, and social environment. We encourage independence.

We value a partnership between parents and caregivers. Good communication is essential to maintaining that partnership. We always welcome ideas, comments, suggestions, concerns, and participation. 

We believe in positive methods of discipline. We establish consistent, age-appropriate limits to allow children to function in their world. We teach children the words to express their emotions and help them come up with solutions to solve their own problems. This enables children to develop the consequences of their own actions.

The development of our staff is a continuous process, which includes attending workshops, listening to guest speakers and frequent discussion. Staff members are encouraged to visit other programs, and to take classes related to child development. The strength of our program is the dedication of our staff. 

We are proud that our children are happy to be here and that they embrace a sense of ownership to our program. The children ARE our program.
